The NEW Google Plus icon and username linked to same, http://gplus.to/GuyRCook you can get your own username for your Google PLus profile.
Go to http://techgopal.com/2011/07/how-to-change-google-username/ once you have a Google+ profile, and then your username will be something you can say over the phone.
