The National Weather Service in Seattle issued a special weather statement Tuesday, warning of strong lowland winds Thursday in western Washington and heavy mountain snow.
    Candles no, Flashlights, portable heater and cards to play yes. OH, and the crank-up powered radio (learned about this stuff in 1990) and wood split and stacked for the stove.
