    VMware does it again, I needed to scan something, but alas the HP scanner isn’t Windows 7 ready, no worries, I installed it onto the XP virtual computer, scanned the W9 form and all is well. If you’re looking for a way to have XP and Windows 7 available (at the same time too) then have a look at this software for virtualization http://www.vmware.com/products/workstation/ yes there’s a 30 day trial. If you have an itch to try one of the linux distributions, but don’t want to buy another computer just now, this is the under $200 way to do that.
